AWT–Phu Tho Environmental and Energy MoU Gains Wider International Media Coverage

The Memorandum of Understanding between Advanced Water Technology Co., Ltd. (AWT) and the Phu Tho Centre for Investment Promotion and Enterprise Support has received wider coverage across Vietnamese domestic and international media channels.
Báo Tin Tức, a publication of the Vietnam News Agency, reported directly on the signing ceremony. Its coverage included photographs of Cho Sung Yeon, CEO of AWT, and Bui Hong Do, Director of the Phu Tho Centre for Investment Promotion and Enterprise Support, exchanging the signed MoU.
The agreement provides a framework for cooperation in the research, survey, proposal, and promotion of projects involving activated carbon filter cores, water environmental treatment, and energy.
VietnamPlus, the English-language platform of the Vietnam News Agency, introduced the cooperation to international readers. The report explained that AWT and Phu Tho Province will study project opportunities based on local development needs, investment conditions, and Vietnamese law.
The cooperation was subsequently reported through several Vietnamese and international media channels, including VOV English, Vietnam News, the English edition of the People’s Army Newspaper, the Korean edition of Nhan Dan, Vietnam Pictorial, and the Korean-language edition of Vietnam.vn.
The Korean-language coverage on Vietnam.vn described the Song Lo II Industrial Park site survey, Phu Tho Province’s support for investment procedures, and AWT’s interest in activated carbon filtration, water treatment, and energy projects.
This wider media coverage does not indicate that a new investment approval or additional project decision has been made. It shows that the August 19 MoU was reported by the Vietnam News Agency and distributed through Vietnamese, English, and Korean media channels.
AWT will use the cooperation framework to further assess project technologies, scale, location, investment requirements, and expected benefits. These studies will support the preparation of an official project proposal and a phased investment roadmap for Phu Tho Province.
